Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy

The National Council for School Safety (NCSS) is committed to providing high-quality, impactful services to its member schools. By joining NCSS and making any payment toward membership or associated services, you agree to the following terms, conditions, and refund policy. Please read carefully before proceeding.

1. Membership & Payment Terms

  • Membership Fees – All membership fees, contributions, and service payments are
  • non-refundable, except as outlined in Section 5 (Refund Policy).
  • Payment Confirmation – Services and benefits commence only after full payment has been received and verified by NCSS.
  • Payment Responsibility – The member school is responsible for entering correct payment NCSS is not liable for failed transactions or delays caused by incorrect information provided by the school.
  • Payment Methods – All payments are processed through secure NCSS does not store sensitive payment information such as debit/credit card details or bank account numbers.

2. Service Delivery & Program Access

  • Service Scope – NCSS will provide the services, programs, and resources listed in the chosen membership package or agreed proposal.
  • Program Changes – NCSS reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or change program formats, delivery methods, or dates if Such changes do not qualify as service failure and are not grounds for a refund.
  • Access Duration – Access to resources and services will continue for the duration of the active membership period, provided all terms and conditions are met.

3. Code of Conduct

  • All participants (school staff, educators, representatives) must adhere to NCSS program guidelines and maintain respectful, non-disruptive conduct.
  • NCSS reserves the right to remove any participant from a program for violation of the Code of Conduct or disruptive behavior without refund.

4. Intellectual Property & Resource Usage

  • All NCSS materials, including manuals, toolkits, recordings, templates, and digital content, are intellectual property of NCSS.
  • Members may use these materials solely for their own school’s internal
  • Reproduction, distribution, modification, or sharing of NCSS materials outside the member school without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:

a.  Failure to Deliver Services

If NCSS is unable to deliver the agreed-upon services (e.g., safety audits, training programs, webinars, policy support) after confirmed payment, a refund will be issued for the undelivered portion.

  • Claims must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the service due
  • Delays due to program rescheduling, technical issues, or force majeure events are not

considered service failure.

b.  Duplicate or Double Payment

If a school has made a duplicate payment for the same service and provides valid proof of the error, NCSS will issue a refund.

  • Claims must be submitted within 7 working days of the transaction

Non-Refundable Cases – Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind or voluntary withdrawal after
  • Non-attendance at a scheduled
  • Failure to meet eligibility
  • Program modifications or

Refund Process:

  1. Email your refund request to info@ncss.org.in with payment proof (receipt or transaction ID).
  2. NCSS will verify the claim and respond within 7 business days.
  3. Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days of claim

6. Data Privacy & Security

  • By becoming a member, you consent to NCSS collecting and using your school’s contact details and relevant information for service delivery and communication.
  • All data is handled in compliance with the CSS Privacy Policy

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Payment Disputes – For issues like failed transactions, duplicate charges, or billing errors, contact NCSS at info@ncss.org.in
  • Unresolved Disputes – If a matter cannot be resolved directly, it will be referred to third-party arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • NCSS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in its programs or services.
  • NCSS is not responsible for service interruptions or delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or technical failures (Force Majeure).

9. Modification of Terms

  • NCSS reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the NCSS website, and continued membership will be deemed as acceptance of any changes.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
